I have a young heart and old soul. I worked in an R&D Lab for 10 years before they relocated most of my company to China and Mexico. Now I’m the stay at home dad who does all the cooking and cleaning, but loves to sneak away to catch trout too. I hope to share a little or all the crazy and fun of my life in this blog. Let’s see where this river flows…

Looks like you have a good thing going here. Keep posting about your Tenkara experiences and I check in a few time a month to see what you up to.
Glad to see another stay at home father blogging about fly fishing!
I enjoy your blog very much and nominated you for the Versatile Blogger Award!!! Thank you for sharing your cool blog with us….
Wow, that means a lot to me! Thank you so much. I enjoy your blog too.
I also fish Black Earth Creek, Mt. Vernon and other WI streams. I’ve been considering a Tenkara rod. Just haven’t decided on a particular Tenkara USA model yet for around WI. Any recommendation?
The 12′ Iwana is great for smaller streams, but I felt like I needed a couple more feet for Black Earth creek. The Ito would be a bit longer, but I’m sticking with my 12′ Iwana. Hope that helps.
